Very good experience. Steve was always kind enough to patiently and clearly explain every step of the way. Riding a geared bike at first was a little challenging, however Steve made sure I understood exactly how to progress from seating myself onto the bike, to then riding on the road. I would definitely recommend this business for anyone who is trying to earn a CBT certificate as you will learn everything you need to know about the basics and even some extra motorcycle trivia!

The absolute best place to learn to ride. I’ve done my previous CBTs here 2016, 2018, took a break from riding over COVID until 2026 and don't have a car license, I'm also 48 just to add, so there was no question when I got back on the bike who I wanted to use for my new CBT and then full Category A licence. Steve can be a tough instructor, but it's exactly what you need to build real road confidence, break bad habits early, and most importantly, stay safe. His exceptional technical coaching and high standards got me through both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 with a first time pass on both!!. Have completed a taster session and then yesterday had the amazing experience of doing my CBT, at all points I felt safe, looked after and pushed to do my very best. Steve has such a knowledge base and so much experience and really tries to get everyone to enjoy their time. Very good price for what you get and I would highly recommend anyone to use this training site if wanting to get a motorbike liscence

I did my direct access and although it wasn’t plain sailing, with Steve’s support I am pleased to say I now have my Category A license. Steve is very knowledgeable and will improve your riding skills. It’s been a real pleasure to learn from a great instructor and guy. I look forward to meeting up soon.

Completed my 5 day course with Steve to get my A2, his knowledge and memory is really incredible. He will notice any faults in your riding and within my five days has taken my skills and confidence so much further than what I started with. At times his teaching style did sometimes feel a little harsh but its hard to complain when he took someone who by the beginning was convinced I’d never pass into by the end someone who achieved almost a faultless mod one and mod two. I even dropped the bike on the third and final day of training (sorry again 🤣) and he acted with so much more professionalism than an experience I’d received before in a similar incident. He didn’t make a fuss and gave me the confidence I needed to go out there and try again. Overall really felt like he did actively wanted me to pass and tried his best to do so - think that’s what you need from an instructor. Overall whilst I found the course challenging and stressful at times , if you want your best shot of passing first try; and ensuring you’re primed with the the most comprehensive knowledge you could possibly hope to learn in such a short amount of time - Steve is your guy. Ride On Motorcycle Training provided incredible instruction and training for my motorbike license. Steve was very methodical in his instruction throughout the course, with incredible attention to detail. Whenever I had a question, he was approachable and very knowledgeable, giving clear explanations. When I made mistakes, he pointed them out whilst also positively reinforcing when I did something correctly. From start to finish, the course was fun, intense, and with a clear and structured process that helped me achieve my goal of obtaining my motorbike license. Steve is a great instructor and all round genuine guy, I have just completed my direct access course with him and the training was quality. He adapts to your skills very well, and you learn a lot very quickly, from basic riding skills to then going into my full bike licence, I wouldn’t recommend any body else.
