What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

CC Motorbike Training delivers motorcycle instruction across Bournemouth and the wider Poole area, and the feedback gathered from riders points consistently to the quality of the teaching. Customers in several reviews describe completing their CBT on 125cc machines, with others progressing to MOD1 and MOD2 modules and full A class direct access courses. Instructors are named repeatedly in accounts: Ben is praised for a calm, patient manner and clear instructions during both the off-road and road riding segments, while Patrick is credited with extensive experience, useful advice and steady encouragement, particularly when learners find manoeuvres such as the figure of eight difficult.

Harvey also features, having helped a first-time manual rider build confidence over the course of a day. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the balance between a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and professional, well-organised delivery. Reviewers repeatedly mention the condition of the bikes, the ample car park practice and the volume of preparation for the MOD1 exercises. Others note that training packages including test fees represent strong value, and that candidates passed their assessments first time. The site's proximity to the test centre is described as an additional practical benefit for those booking courses.

The instructors were nice people, can't really fault their personalities but there's a couple of things about my experience I thought I should share. I went here for my first CBT and make it very clear that I'd never been on a bike before beforehand/during, but when I got there I found I'd been paired up with a guy who already had a motorbike and was simply there to renew his CBT, meaning he had all the basics down and didn't really need any help. This already stressed me out a little as obviously I needed more help being a complete beginner, and felt throughout that he was frustrated by the pace of the learning - if I was him I also would've been. This then led to us being taken out on the road when I wasn't ready. I was okay in the car park, but being on the actual road is an entirely different beast (especially when it's your first time operating any motorised vehicle). I did my best but feel I was pushed too far beyond my actual abilities, leading me to crash more than once and sustain minor injuries. The instructor pushed me to get up and continue, which I think was him being nice, but made me feel even more stressed and pressured. In the end I walked away with a bruised body and bruised confidence. I think I'll try driving lessons next time.

Did my MOD1 and MOD2 here with Patrick. Not a bad word to say. Passed both first time. Good amount of car park training and on the road with lots of practice of the MOD1 courses! Only downside is the earpieces are uncomfortable which is the same at all the other places I did my CBT at for the last 8 years haha

I had previously completed my CBT with another outfit, but hadn’t been comfortable with them. I was recommended CC Motorbike Training by a friend and booked for training with MOD1 and MOD2 tests included; which was great value for money. The training was the best experience I could have wished for; Patrick was laid back and patient, with a lot of experience and advice. This is a first class, professional outfit, with a lot of experience. I cannot recommend them enough. I was riding a CB650R, a very good bike which I felt immediately comfortable with, having only ridden a 125cc previously, jumping on a powerful machine was daunting, but there was no need to worry, it was great! I passed both my MOD1 & MOD2 first time, with a single minor driver error on my MOD1 and only 3 minors on my MOD2, totally my own fault and knew I’d done them at the time, but having only been trained for a few days, it’s a credit to Patrick’s teaching that I got so few, but knew as soon as I’d done them! Don’t hesitate, CC Motorbike Training is the way! Thank you Patrick, I look forward to many safe and fun miles on the road.
