I completed my full licence course (7 sessions) with Camrider between April-July 2026 and couldn't be happier with the whole process. Vicky provides plenty of clear, detailed instructions about timings, payments, what kit to wear etc. and although a lot of this is very strict she was able to be flexible with me when I called up to ask to switch to an afternoon session (although I did call several weeks in advance). I had two instructors over the sessions - Aaron and Matt, both very knowledgeable, experienced, and clear with their approach to instructing. I had completed my CBT with another company a year prior and felt that Camrider was just a much more professional and organised setup than the other place. I passed both my Module 1 and Module 2 on my first attempts thanks to all the advice and training given over the sessions. The motorbikes we used for training were also good quality and I was lent all the kit I needed. I'd highly recommend Camrider!
From start to finish really good, nice clear booking system online or by phone. I had to change it with 9 days' notice and they accommodated it no problem. Facility is clean and well kept lots of car parking and bike parking available on-site. Shop is well stocked with everything you need and the people who work there really know their stuff. I went for my CBT and had Ian as my instructor; really good, calm, patient, good instructions. Me being a taller gentleman, they picked out the bike for me and made it a more comfortable and enjoyable day in general. Little things that make it so much better.
Had a great experience over a month and a half learning to ride with Aaron and Matt! Fantastic instructors, always calm, constructive and knowledgeable. Passed Mod 1 and 2 first time mainly due to their tutelage. Also had a great experience with Vicky at the shop upstairs getting kitted out! Highly recommend.
Outstanding course for full motorcycle licence . They never give up on participants. I was consideringbmw royson but it’s too intense here you can have one sesion per week let skills settle and progress . Extremely nice instructors when exercises are getting stressful they step in slows you down . Fantastic people . Mature motorcyclist. Strongly recommend
An absolute amazing gang of people, passionate about motorcycles. Legends at patiance and always cheerfully and uplifting no matter to your skills. If you are looking for a motorcycle centre to learn to ride, look no further. Leaving my review just after passing my mod 2 test. They will never tell you to go if you are not ready. Moreover they teach you how to behave and handle the motorbike on the road beyond the "pass the test" grade. Can fault this motorbike centre and their instructors on anything <3
I completed a CBT + full DAS course with Camrider (including CBT refresher) and the whole experience was phenomenal from top to bottom. Vicky is an administrative powerhouse and a cornerstone of getting all the sessions organised and booked in; she was incredibly accomodating around my scheduling constraints and she and Luke are additionally both thoroughly knowlegeable when it comes to all things kit and gear. I had the pleasure of being taught by Arron and Matt (and Ian all the way back on my first CBT day), all of whom are calm, insightful, and experienced instructors who work tirelessly to improve your riding skills and confidence. I had both 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 coaching and the standard across the board was exceptional, with a great mix of friendly banter alongside encouragement and coaching tips. I pased both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests first time, with the whole DAS course spread out across roughly 2 months. The team at Camrider Sawston are truly motorbike people through and through, and strive to get the best out of you. I would recommend their training school and gear shop without hesitation to anyone considering dipping their toes into the world of motorcycles.
Vicky in the office is great, i told her what i needed and when i needed it by and her and the team didn’t fail to deliver. I took the 5 session course for my A2 and it never felt like i was wasting money. Aaron is a brilliant instructor and doesn’t mind having a good laugh over the intercom. Passed both my Mod 1 and 2 first time with these guys. They take the time to explain everything you’re doing and pick up every mistake so you can correct it. Overall great bunch.
