4.4 / 5 · 45 totalMe and friend did our first cbt here and had a horrible experience. As the course is aimed at beginners we decided to go for the manual bikes as it seemed more fun. When we told our instructor (Nick) we had no experience (obviously we are doing the course) he was very wary about how the day would go. He then proceeded to be very inpatient the whole day and if we couldn’t grasp a technique after 5 minutes all he would say was that we were wasting the other participants time and we can’t afford to not be able to do it. He also came across as fairly racist against the other 2 participants and demeaning them for being uber eats drivers. If you are debating choosing this centre please don’t and instead look at Phoenix Motorcycle training as we cannot recommend them enough. Plenty of calm, friendly and patient instructors and much better value for money. Instead of having around just 2 hours on the bike (which we paid £200 for) we got around 6-7 hours at phoenix. Like others here have said it seems the training is set up so that 2 people are chosen to fail for the morning so they don’t have to pay more instructors. This became apparent very quickly for us when he would not understand we just needed slightly more time to practice and instead moved on to harder techniques to make us feel even worse.
I recently completed my CBT with Mr. Sonny, and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. He was professional, patient, and explained everything clearly, making me feel confident throughout the training. Despite the 30°C heat, he stayed calm, positive, and encouraging the entire day. His friendly attitude and excellent teaching style made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend Mr. Sonny to anyone looking to complete their CBT with an experienced and supportive instructor. Thank you for making it such a great experience!
Just finished my CBT training. Everything went smooth and the instructor was good. One thing I hoped it was better is that the gear they gave me smelled really bad as it was never washed :( It was very distracting all day. If you own your own gear I recommend you bring it with you (Gloves and Helmet). My jacket wasn't protective enough so they gave me one but also it smelled like very old sweat. At least make sure to bring a good protective jacket with you.
I done my CBT efficiently with my instructor Nick. Amazing guy, his teaching skills are great and very easy to grab onto. I had never touched a motorbike before and after completing my CBT with Nick, I am looking for a Suzuki GSXR125 or Kawasaki Ninja R125. Hes taught me the importance of wearing the correct gear to protect myself in worst case scenarios during on the road. Everything went smooth and was an enjoyable experience. For anyone wondering, there is a lot of car parking spaces available so you can drive there and park up in the same place next to where you are doing your CBT training, which is super useful. 10/10 experience with Nick @ LMT. I will be coming back soon for my DAS after completing the necessary steps before.
Sorry I didn’t take any Photos. But I just had my CBT today and Passed. Honestly I couldn’t have done it without Clark’s support and patience. He really took his time to teach me with a lot about speed control and how to make turning into a breeze. He made the day quite funny and one to remember. So big shoutout to Clark. Thank you for everything you did for me! 🙏
"I had a great experience training here! The instructor (AARAN) were professional, patient, and made the whole process feel very straightforward. The equipment and bikes were in good condition, and I felt well-prepared by the end of the session. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to get their CBT in London!"
I received my motorcycle licence yesterday. To be precise, I passed my test yesterday, and the licence should arrive soon. I’m very grateful to this school for their support. I completed both my Module 1 and Module 2 training here. I worked with three different instructors on different days, and the result was excellent. I passed both modules on the first attempt. One of my main challenges was that English is not my first language, so I had some difficulties with that. However, the instructors prepared me so well that I had no problems during the exams. I highly recommend this school to everyone and would encourage you not to hesitate to book more training days. The more you practise with an instructor, the better your result will be on the test.
