I recently took my motorcycle training with Ewan, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He is strict, no doubt about it — he expects focus, proper form, and full commitment during every exercise. At times it felt intense, but that’s exactly why I improved so quickly. His feedback is direct and honest, never sugar-coated, which helped me correct bad habits I didn’t even know I had. By the end of the course, I felt genuinely confident and passed my Mod 1 test. If you’re serious about becoming a skilled rider and not just looking for an easy pass, Ewan is the instructor you want. His toughness comes from years of riding experience. I can’t wait to take my Mod 2 training with him. Just waiting on availability.

I recently attended this centre to renew my CBT, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The instructor was extremely strict and even told me to ride at 30 mph on a road with a 20 mph speed limit. He also criticised several things that I believe were unfair. Renewing a CBT is expensive, and many people are already under financial pressure. Spending an entire day only to fail because of an overly harsh assessment is incredibly frustrating, especially if your job depends on it. The instructor also put me under unnecessary pressure throughout the training, which made the experience stressful instead of educational. In my opinion, this is not the right approach for someone renewing a CBT. I would not recommend this training centre.

I am very happy with my CBT training. Sebastian was an excellent instructor. He explained everything clearly, was patient, and helped me build my confidence throughout the training. Thanks to his professional teaching and guidance, I passed my CBT successfully. I would highly recommend Sebastian to anyone taking their CBT training. Thank you, Sebastian! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would strongly discourage anyone from using this school, especially the Westham Centre branch. My experience was very disappointing and honestly felt unfair from start to finish. The instructor arrived late and had a bad attitude from the beginning. During the training, he spent a lot of time on his phone instead of properly teaching or paying attention to the students. Whenever other students made mistakes, he barely reacted, but when I made even a small mistake, he spoke to me differently and much more harshly. What I don’t understand is this: if my riding was supposedly not good enough, then why was I taken out onto the road training in the first place? I followed the instructor’s directions throughout the session and completed the training like everyone else. In the end, I was failed over one mistake, while other students made similar mistakes and still passed. That did not feel fair or professional at all. The equipment and facilities were also in poor condition. The helmets and jackets smelled damp, and the bikes looked old and badly maintained. People pay here expecting proper training, professionalism, and fair treatment. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I have already made a formal complaint and requested a refund. Very disappointing experience and a waste of money.

I highly discourage anyone from using this school, especially the Westham Centre branch. An absolute scam. I arrived early, but the instructor turned up late with a terrible attitude. To make matters worse, he spent almost the entire practical session staring at his mobile phone instead of actually instructing. The facilities are filthy and neglected, the helmets and jackets smell heavily of damp, and the practice bikes are old and poorly maintained. On top of that, after demonstrating good riding skills all morning, I was failed over two completely unrealistic and unfair scenarios—even though I followed the instructor's exact instructions to the letter. You are paying for professional training and safety, but you get none of it here. I have already lodged a formal complaint and demanded a full refund. If you are a beginner, look elsewhere. If you already know how to ride, avoid this place at all costs so you don't get ripped off. A complete waste of time and money.

Just passed my first CBT with Nick in West Ham. He was a very good instructor. Emphasised the dangers of biking, while still building my confidence to ride safely. Will be back in about a year for my mod1&2. Highly recommend.

I did my CBT recently on a 50cc moped and had Laurie as my instructor — he was excellent from start to finish. His instructions were clear and easy to follow, and he took the time to explain everything thoroughly without ever rushing. Laurie is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his students’ safety and success. The session was well-paced and professional, and Laurie created a relaxed learning environment which made it easy to focus. I felt well-prepared and confident throughout. I was hoping to do the CBT on a geared bike or at least a 125cc scooter, but it was still a really good experience overall. Would definitely recommend Laurie to anyone taking their CBT. Moving onto doing Mod 1 this year. Had instructor Simon on test day. He was patient, knowledgeable. Passed it first time and can’t recommend Simon enough! Simon took the time in explaining how manoeuvre should be done clearly. Gave us some tips for Mod 2 on the way back from our Mod 1 too. Karen and her team in the office was helpful with booking classes and test. Can definitely recommend.
