UPASSED SCHOOL OF MOTORING

UPassed School of Motoring provides driving lessons in West Hull and North Hull. The instructor has over 20 years of experience teaching learners and has been teaching people to drive in Hull since 2000. Before setting up UPassed, the instructor worked with the AA Driving School and spent several years as a RED Training Officer. The instructor particularly enjoys working with first-timers. Lessons are conducted in a 2022 Ford EcoSport with dual controls.

People preparing for their practical driving test in Hull value the thorough preparation they receive from Phil, an instructor whose lessons are repeatedly described as clear and detailed. A recurring theme in the feedback is the depth of explanation given before and during each session, with learners noting that every aspect of driving was covered and that any uncertainty was addressed without fuss. Several reviewers describe gaining confidence steadily across their course, including one who had difficult experiences with previous instructors and credits the approach here with making a return to driving feel manageable.

The cost of lessons is often mentioned as reasonable, while the structured, memorable guidance is said to simplify manoeuvres and the rules of the road. First-time test passes feature frequently in the accounts, sometimes with very few or no faults, and these outcomes are attributed directly to the standard of tuition and the calm, friendly delivery. Patience during moments of self-doubt is highlighted often, alongside consistent professionalism, and the encouraging manner is credited with helping learners settle their nerves before the test.
