Hull Driving School

Hull Driving School is a driving school based in Hull that has been providing driving lessons in the area for over 35 years. It offers both manual and automatic tuition. The school has a team of full-time professional instructors, whose teaching experience exceeds 30 years.

It provides personalised lesson plans and prepares candidates for both theory and practical tests. For pupils who have had previous lessons or failed a test, an assessment lesson is available. A practice theory test programme is offered on the school's pupil page.

Eight in the morning until nine at night, every day of the week, is when this Hessle-based school makes lessons available, giving pupils plenty of scope to arrange sessions around school, work or other commitments. Feedback consistently centres on instructor Rich, whose calm and down-to-earth manner is described repeatedly as a reason pupils felt supported throughout their course.

Several accounts mention passing first time, including one learner who had failed a test a decade earlier and another who passed second time with just a single minor fault, suggesting tuition that adjusts to each individual's starting point and pace. A theme running through the feedback is confidence-building, with pupils noting that instruction goes beyond simply preparing for the test, equipping them with skills for driving independently afterwards. Rearranging a lesson when needed is described as straightforward, and reliability alongside patience is mentioned as a constant throughout.

More than one pupil contrasts the experience favourably with earlier attempts at learning elsewhere, including with different instructors, and the tuition is felt to represent good value for what is delivered. Located on Bishop Kempthorne Close on the western edge of Hull, the school's long daily hours mean lessons can be booked well into the evening or across weekends without difficulty.
