Howard is a great instructor, prompt, straight to the point and a sense of humour which I’d rather. Everyone has an opinion but with his strict approach to learning correctly is the way forward. It worked for me with first time straight passes all through. We had a great laugh, I did feel sometimes on the road he was a bit pushy but then I look back now and his main concern is our safety while learning. If you have a soft instructor you will feel you can make the mistakes more than once… I went into my test knowing exactly what I cannot do. Highly recommend and great package price compared to other quotes I got for DAS!!!!! Yes bikes aren’t top of the range but they do the job and are easy to learn on. Amazing Review: Silver Bikes Motorcycle Training – Modules 1 & 2 I recently completed my full motorcycle licence journey with Silver Bikes Motorcycle Training in Havant, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re serious about passing your Module 1 and Module 2 with confidence (and actually enjoying the process), look no further. Module 1 Training – Precision, Patience & Pure Skill Building Module 1 can feel intimidating – all those tight manoeuvres, the figure of eight, the emergency stop at speed, and the dreaded avoidance swerve. But the team at Silver Bikes made it feel completely manageable. Howard broke everything down into crystal-clear, bite-sized steps. We spent serious time on the manoeuvring area getting the fundamentals perfect: clutch control at slow speeds, precise throttle management, correct body position, and smooth U-turns. He didn’t just teach the test – He taught why each technique matters for real-world riding. What really stood out was their attention to detail. By the end of the training, I was nailing consistent 50kph+ runs, controlled stops, and that high-speed swerve with real confidence. Result: First-time pass on Module 1 with ZERO minor faults. I walked out grinning like an idiot. Module 2 Training – Road Craft Mastery Module 2 is where you prove you can actually ride safely in real traffic, and Silver Bikes absolutely nailed this part too. We did multiple on-road sessions covering everything: Progressive observation and hazard perception Correct road positioning, Overtaking and filtering, techniques, Roundabouts and complex junctions, town and rural road riding. The feedback was always constructive and encouraging. They rode behind me, gave real-time radio instructions when needed, and then did thorough debriefs afterwards. I especially appreciated how they taught me to ride defensively but assertively – exactly what you need to pass the test while staying safe long-term. He also helped massively with the “show me, tell me “Questions and made sure my bike handling was polished from the Module 1 work. Result: First-time pass on Module 2. I felt calm, competent, and genuinely ready to ride on my own. Why Silver Bikes Stands Out Patient, experienced instructors who genuinely love teaching and want you to succeed. Small group or one-to-one feel – never rushed. Excellent training location with a great off-road site for Mod 1 practice. Professional but friendly atmosphere that takes the stress out of the process. Real focus on long-term riding skills, not just “pass the test and forget.” If you’re thinking about doing your CBT, DAS, or full licence training (Modules 1 & 2), do yourself a favour and book with Silver Bikes. Very poor communication. Booked a test session, arrived early with no one there. Texted them to say we had arrived, to get a phone call back saying an earlier test had been cancelled and rescheduled for another test centre, not sure what was happening. Outcome was our session was cancelled. I am pretty sure if I had not made contact we would have heard nothing. We were promised a call in an hour to rearrange our session, to add insult to injury no call was received. They may be good at what they do but it's not communication.

An overall really positive experience I’ve had my bike for 2 years and went to do my cbt again. I had chippy as my instructor and found him to be a great mentor. Even though I’ve had my bike for 2 years I mentioned i am quite nervous about being on the roads in an area I don’t know and chippy was understanding and whilst we were on the roads kept checking in to make sure we were doing okay and to see if there is anything we were wanting to practice more. I found the day a really nice learning experience and left feeling so much more confident in myself . Couldn’t recommend more .

Great friendly training provider. Done my CBT with them and also asked them to access my riding ability to see how many days I would need to complete my DAS course. A big thank you to the silver bikes team for getting me a pass first time.

My daughter and I have just completed our CBT with instructor Chippy. We were complete beginners, however it was a great experience. Chippy is a fantastic instructor and was very patient with us! We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to achieve their CBT certificate. Thank you Silverbikes!

Did my CBT yesterday with Chippy. Had a really enjoyable day. Have done the CBT a couple of times before with other companies, but learned a lot more with Silver Bike Training. Chippy is a great instructor. I would highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely use again if I decide to take my motorcycle training further in the future.
