Unfortunately, If you’re starting without any experience on a bike, I wouldn’t recommend phoenix Motorcycle training. My group were significantly more experienced than me, meaning the training I required was not taken seriously. Around 5 minutes of ‘theory’ is given before heading out. Luckily I can drive and understand road theory, otherwise I wouldn’t have know what I was doing on round about ect. Be prepared to sit in a shipping container on your own for a couple of hours contemplating what you’ve spent all your money on. My time at phoenix Motercyle really put a downer on my enthusiasm and my confidence. Just a really lazy attitude. So yeah, if you have experience and you’re keen to pass your CBT quickly and easily this is a good option, as you’re pretty much there to show what you can do from the jump. If this is your first experience on a bike and you’re looking for training, there are much better options offering more support.
These guys know their bikes! They took me from total beginner at age 52 to passing my MOD 2 first time. All the instructors at Phoenix were fantastic and very patient with me when I made my frequent errors. The instructors all have great senses of humour and made the training enjoyable and were supportive when I was struggling. The only thing I still don't understand is how instructor George manages to sleep at night having drunk Monster drinks all day!!
The instructors are very helpful and really know what they are doing. Liam has been a great instructor and supporter throughout my training. He provides everything you need and is very flexible with training sessions. From day one, he helped me correct my mistakes while riding on the road and gave me the confidence to improve. All the bikes and equipment are well maintained and looked after. You simply need to book your training and ride. I passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests on my first attempt, and I am very grateful to Liam and the whole team for their excellent support and guidance. Highly recommended.
Honestly, best school in Buckingham and surrounding area. I came to these guys after doing CBT with someone else and came to these guys to do Mod 1 & 2. Passed both first time and would recommend to anyone. George and the whole team thank you and keep smashing it
Liam, George and Ben were all brilliant and extremely helpful. I went from being completely unable to ride a bike having never touched one to passing both my Mod 1 and 2 first time in a handful of sessions.
George was so great with the training for mod 1 and mod 2 he is a available asset to phoenix riding school, his knowledge and experience are dividend and would recommend anyone I know that is interested in learning to ride
I completed my CBT with Phoenix Motorcycle Training in Milton Keynes on 21st April, and I am very happy with the overall experience and the quality of training. At first, I was very nervous, but the trainer was extremely friendly and helped me feel comfortable and confident. He was highly knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, which made the learning process much easier. I would especially like to thank my trainer, Hughes, for his support and guidance throughout the training. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this training centre to anyone looking to complete their CBT.
