About the company

One 2 One Motorcycle Training was formed in 1995. The company provides motorcycle training covering North Staffordshire and South Cheshire. All instructors are Driving Standards Approved. It is a training provider for the Honda School of Motoring Programme in partnership with Staffordshire Honda.

The company provides all necessary equipment and insurance for students to pass their test. Courses are available in intensive format over several days or tailored to the student's availability. CBT training is conducted most days, and full test training is offered six days a week. CBTs take place in Newcastle-Under-Lyme most days at The Army Careers Centre.

What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Riders of varying ages and confidence levels feature in feedback for this motorcycle training provider, based at the Army Careers Centre on Liverpool Road in Newcastle-under-Lyme, including an older couple who completed their CBT together despite poor weather and a parent who trained alongside their son for module tests.

Instructors Ian, Jayce, Jase and Luke are named frequently, with Ian singled out for calm, methodical coaching, thorough communication ahead of sessions and steady in-helmet guidance once out on the road, covering module one manoeuvres and module two riding skills. Many pupils report passing both modules on their first attempt after working with this team. The training ground is described as private, with a choice of twist-and-go scooters or manual 125cc machines for CBT candidates, and the bikes are consistently praised as well kept.

A relaxed, good-humoured atmosphere is mentioned often, paired with instruction thorough enough to leave riders properly prepared rather than merely assessed. One reviewer also noted a discount voucher for a local Honda dealership on completion of their course, and value for money is raised as a point in the school's favour. Weekday sessions run from nine in the morning until five, with Saturday availability until midday, giving flexibility to those arranging CBT or full motorcycle testing locally.

Overall not a bad place to do your cbt as the bikes there work well and the instructors are all relaxed and happy to help, making the cbt feel more like a actual training experience rather then just critiquing your driving which other training centres feel like, so if your looking for a place to actually learn how to ride well and safe and pass I would recommend one 2 one motorcycle training

Myself and Mrs J decided to do our CBT...why ? I ask myself at 58 years of age . We had a great day with our very patient and informative instructors Jayse and Luke. We really enjoyed it, the weather was not good heavy rain and gusty winds. The bikes were great and there was a choice of twist n go type scooter or manual motorcycle both 125cc which was ideal. All done CBT passed thanks to one 2 one training at Newcastle

I recently completed my motorcycle training and wanted to leave feedback on what has been an excellent experience from start to finish. Ian’s communication throughout was outstanding - from clear and timely emails in the weeks leading up to the training, to effective in-helmet instruction during lessons. This level of communication made the entire process smooth, structured, and easy to follow. Before, during, and after both the theory and practical sessions, feedback was consistently provided. It was always constructive, with clear action points that I was able to implement immediately, which significantly supported my progression. Ian took the time to develop my riding skills and build my confidence in a structured and professional manner. This was clearly reflected in my performance, as I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time. Ian's professionalism, knowledge, and instructional ability are evident in every aspect of the training. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend One 2 One to anyone looking to complete their motorcycle licence. A big thank you to both Ian and Jason!
