What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

On Duncairn Gardens in Belfast, Grade 6 ADI has built a strong reputation around its intensive crash courses, with instructor Frankie Connor named repeatedly by former pupils, alongside Michelle and Joyce who handle bookings and support. Several reviewers describe short, concentrated courses ranging from a few hours to a handful of days, often booked after failing a test elsewhere or with a test date already looming, and many report passing first time or with only a few minor faults.

A theme running through the feedback is Frankie's calm, patient manner, particularly with nervous or previously unsuccessful candidates, and his clear, thorough explanations of manoeuvres and road positioning. Parents booking lessons for younger drivers also mention feeling reassured by his straightforward, encouraging approach. The team is credited with adapting quickly to individual weaknesses, tightening up specific skills rather than repeating generic lessons, which several pupils felt made the difference on test day.

Early starts feature regularly, with weekday availability from around 6.30am on some days and Saturday sessions from 6am, fitting around work or college commitments. Sunday remains closed. Across the feedback, the consistent theme is a fast, focused route to a licence rather than a long series of weekly lessons, delivered from the Duncairn Gardens base in north Belfast.

Not really suitable for complete beginners. Cost was extortionate. *edit in response I find your reply extremely unprofessional and childish. I would not write a review if I didnt experience a companies product. If you'd like I can send you proof of you asking for the £1300 upfront, to your wife's bank account. You also asked for another sum for 1 week. I didnt find the crash course worked for beginners and lessons were cut short. That's just my view which I'm entitled to.

I had the best lesson I could ever had with Frankie, Joyce and (can’t remember her name) They were so patient with me and help me calm my nerves within a short period of time. I am grateful and thankful for coming across them. I wish I had started with them from the beginning. I learnt a whole lots. If you are looking to learn, this is the best place for you to learn. Get intouch and they will give you quality skills. I’m not there yet but I will soon. Thank you again Team Frankie from kemi.

I am the luckiest one if I have to use that word. I met Michelle just yesterday morning she booked me in for a 3 hours intensive driving training by Frankie and guess what, I went for the test after 3 hours and it was a success. Frankie and Michelle are the best in town and I will recommend Grade 6 trainer 100%. Thank you guys you are the best….. I feel on top of the world right now👍
