Brilliant Driving School

Brilliant Driving School was absolutely Marvelous! Baden and Kayla were patient, encouraging, and made every lesson so clear and confidence-boosting. Thanks to them I passed practical driving test — I highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive!

My daughter passed first time with Baden. Baden is a lovely man and an absolutely outstanding teacher. You can tell he really loves his job and goes over and above for the students. I really respected the fact that he didn’t just want them to pass but to be safe after the test. My daughter says she feels very calm and confident driving and was very prepared for the test. 100% recommend Baden. Best instructor in Swansea. BRILLIANT!

Baden is an excellent driving instructor. He's always professional, patient, and calm, even when I make repeated mistakes. His knowledge of driving is exceptional, and he explains everything clearly and in a way that's easy to understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive instructor.

Genuinely THE BEST driving instructor in Swansea helped me so much took me in with only a month before my test and helped me improve on all the things I was doing wrong or missing a couple of small steps he was strong fair and told me when I had fault but was always fair with the criticism/critiques but just explained how to change it and improve. He also encouraged me to do the test in Welsh as I am a Welsh speaker and it genuinely helped, if you guys are uncertain about your driving instructor now or think that he’s teaching you wrong then message Baden he will teach you the right way and the safe way and you will be better off in the future. Thank you baden so much so grateful 🙏

I took driving lessons with this instructor. During my final lesson, he raised his voice and spoke to me in a manner that I found upsetting, pressurising and disrespectful. I understand that I am still learning and may make mistakes. I also recognise that an instructor may need to intervene if they believe there is a safety risk. However, my concern was the way he communicated with me, which I did not find calm or professional. Because of this experience, I decided not to continue lessons with him. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion.

Want to say a big thank you to Baden at Brilliant Driving School for helping my daughter pass her driving test first time with only 2 minors!! From start to finish Baden has been a great support to my daughter often giving her critical but honest advice. My daughter said that Baden would always say safety on the roads is top priority. As a parent I didn’t want my daughter to rush into her test, and Baden agreed that even though she was a good driver, he felt she would benefit from another block of lessons making it a total of 50 hours altogether, along with the odd 1 or 2 extra lessons nearer to her test. I am so glad we booked the extra lessons as I could really see the difference it made in her overall confidence and driving ability, which is why I believe she passed first time with only 2 minors. My advice to other parents would be, listen to Baden…if he feels your child would benefit from more lessons..then do it, as it really does make all the difference! Thank you!

What a fantastic experience learning with Baden at Brilliant Driving School. Delighted to have passed. The improvement in my driving over the last few months has been massive. He genuinely goes above and beyond, whether that’s taking extra time after lessons or providing loads of helpful content on YouTube and TikTok outside of lessons. The difference is ridiculous. Can’t thank Baden enough for all the help and support. Highly recommend Brilliant Driving School. What a top guy! Absolutely chuffed!
