Rider Training North West

Took my CBT and Motorcycle Test with Kev and passed with flying colours! His training methods and personality are outstanding! I highly recommend Kev at RiderTrainingNW if you’re looking to pass your test!

Had such an incredible experience with Kev at rider training, after having a questionable experience and a few failures with my previous riding school I decided to give Kev a shot and commute up from Wrexham. All I can say is I’d make that commute 10/10 times! I had 2 training session with Kev, one 10 days before my mod 2 and one the day of and I can truly and honestly say I learned more in them 2 days than I did in booking my whole DAS course with a separate school, Kev is an honest gentleman who will tell you outright when you’re making mistakes, he’s got an absolutely fantastic sense of humor with a wealth of knowledge and easy to remember acronyms and sayings that’s make remembering the information he’s told you an absolute breeze The bikes are very very well maintained, offer heated grips, have a lowered bike and a normal height bike (mine even had a slightly taller comfort seat, as a big guy this was fantastic) he has a great 2 way radio system that stick in your helmet. It’s very comfortable and allows you to ask questions and chat (when safe) his pricing was in my opinion was in the cheap side he could easily be charging more!! Having passed my Mod 2 today I can honestly say I wouldn’t have went into it without the confidence and knowledge needed without Kev, a true gent who’s a biker himself even when not teaching. I’ll end this by saying I’d give Kev 6/5 stars if I could and if you’re within a 60 mile radius of Southport you’d be doing yourself a monumental disservice by not booking through Kev.

Heard good things so I come down from Liverpool, Just passed MOD 2 yesterday with Kev !! Great guy knows his stuff and he made sure I was ready to get over the line happy riding mate and thanks again 5 star experience.

I recently completed my DAS course with Raider Training North West, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the training was well-organised, clear, and focused on safety — exactly what you want when you’re getting ready for the big test. A special shout-out to Kevin, who was an outstanding instructor. His teaching style is calm, patient, and confidence-boosting, and he explains everything in a way that actually sticks. He kept every session safe and structured, but still relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a motorcycle training school that genuinely cares about its students and gives you the skills (and confidence!) to ride safely, I’d definitely recommend Raider Training North West. Great course, great team, great experience.

Can not say enough about Kevin, he took me through my mod 2 test in such a way that made me feel confident in my ability. His two way radio set up is ideal as he can advise you as well as you are able to ask questions when circumstances you are not sure of occur. Even with my success he made it clear there is still a lot to learn and I will definitely be taking up the offer of further training on my own bike. Needs to polish up his comedy act although the same joke kept catching me out( can you hear me )lol. Thanks again Kevin you made the difference between a pass and failure. Ian

Great guy to talk to and a knowledgeable instructor. Guided me through the DAS journey and I'm very happy I did it with him. His bikes are spot on and he's straight forward about his remarks. It was more than just passing the test.

Kevin is a fantastic instructor. He uses a dual communication system that allows you to provide real-time feedback ask questions, and vice versa. You receive input as situations arise rather than after the lesson. After driving for over 20 years, I came to Kevin with bad habits and needed a refresher. His feedback was direct but valid. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my Module 2 test within a week after roughly six hours of lessons. After reading some online reviews, I travelled nearly two hours to Southport for lessons with Kevin, and it was entirely worth it. I highly recommend learning with Kevin!
