Absolute shocking do not recommend this place, we received an email saying training started at 7:15 and to be there for 7am which we arrived, only to be met by a rude gentlemen saying that they had emailed us and it was 8:30 start, no email ever came to our email address so I’d love to see the proof here. Then my son showed he is competent and safe but because of the other 2 in the group wasn’t the instructor decided that they was all unsafe and he wasn’t taking them out on the road, then said it will be £120 if you book again. After paying £200 to book today I don’t think £120 is a very fair price to say they couldn’t tell him why he wasn’t safe. Will not be going back here, ruined a 16 years confidence from the first minute of him arriving. Shocking

Id not rode a motorcycle in 40 year and honestly I thought I'd wouldn't get through it. But the team of instructors are first class helped me get comfortable and confident on the machine. I'd recommend them anytime . Thank guys

I completed my CBT here and had a really positive experience. The instructors were friendly, patient, and professional, making the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. The staff were welcoming and helpful from start to finish, creating a relaxed learning environment. I'd definitely recommend this training school to anyone looking to complete their CBT. Thanks again to the team!

Amazing experience. I went from someone who had never even sat on an motorbike and struggled to move forward to someone now independently riding with a CBT. Heather, Les and Nigel are brilliant, Heather was very understanding of my nerves and encouraging. I'm autistic and had never driven a manual bike/car before, but these guys made me feel very safe and I enjoyed my experience. I would definitely recommend this training school and I will be going back for training for my full licence! ☺️edit: COMPLETED MY FULL A LICENSE WITH THEM AND FEEL VERY HAPPY! They never gave up on me and show everyone that trains with them why they are the best school around. If you want to be a good rider, learn with them. Very comprehensive and you join a very welcoming community!

Did my CBT, and 5 day DAS, with the folks at ATB. A happy customer (and not just because I passed)! ATB are a family-business style, and the instructors are real characters and all with hearts of gold. They'll say what they think (and think what they say), sometimes with a bit of flavour, and I think these are all good things for your nerves and riding in the long run. They clearly have the utmost respect for their clients safety and training, and understandably ask for honesty and effort in return. The quality of instruction, equipment and facilities (using the MMA rather than a car park, having a lowered bike available, top quality tyres on the bikes, good radios etc) is all excellent. Would recommend! Thanks folks, Zak

I recently completed my training at ATB Rider Training on Barleywood Road, and overall I had a very good experience. My instructor, Les, was excellent—very cooperative, positive in attitude, and delivered the training in a clear and engaging way. He was friendly, helpful, and made sure the session never felt boring. One thing to keep in mind: if you book the morning slot at 8:30, don’t arrive too early as the gate usually opens after 8:15. They also have dogs on site, which might feel a bit intimidating at first. Initially, the management staff didn’t feel very welcoming, especially as a foreigner, which could make your first impression slightly uncomfortable. However, the quality of training itself, particularly with instructor Les, more than makes up for it. Also, be very careful about timing—arriving even a minute late can result in being refused training, and the full fee (around £200) may be non-refundable. I know someone who experienced this, so make sure you arrive on time. I would also suggest that they improve the quality of seating furniture and make trainees feel more comfortable and welcomed upon arrival. Overall, I would still rate this training centre highly because of the excellent instruction and professional training provided.
