John Douglas... Aka Dug the driving instructor who surely can't teach students how to drive, as he hasn't got a clue how to in the first place. Dangerous driving. Thinks its a race track in his CUPRA, registration JD04 DUG.
I was heading to Durham (from Manchester) to complete my ADI part 2 test and thought having a lesson up there with a local instructor would help me to familiarise myself with the road network. John agreed to give me a lesson and it was such a good help. He immediately put me at ease and was so reassuring and helpful making sure he took me to any potentially tricky spots and talked me through some tips and strategies. He was really down to earth and a lovely man. I am quite sure my success on my part 2 test was partly down to him and his teaching ability-thanks John!
Highly recommended anyone that is wanting to learn to drive to go with yolo motoring academy! My driving instructor Stu has dealt with pregnant Abbie, after pregnancy, meltdown Abbie and everything in between! Thank you again for putting up with all my different moods and getting me through my test!
Passed first time with John after I needed a new driving instructor. Really patient and explains everything clearly until it clicked with practice. I couldn’t recommend enough if you’re abit nervous about getting on the road.
David was a great instructor and gave me the confidence to pass first time. I would highly recommend Yolo to any young drivers.
