Thompson Driver Training is a team of fully qualified driving instructors approved by the DVSA. The company has served Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding areas for many years, and its coverage includes those areas. Lessons are conducted in latest model Audi cars equipped with dual controls.
The Audi A1 cars have satellite navigation, dual controls, power steering, ABS braking and air conditioning. Instruction is provided on a one-to-one basis, with no car sharing with other pupils. Thompson Driver Training offers Pass Plus training, motorway training, free theory test practice and a tailor-made Intensive Course.

Passed my driving test in london with the help of my uncle Gary -TDT . He is very patient and thorough with his teaching which made learning with him easy and enjoyable. He helped me improve on my parking, meeting on coming traffic and junctions all in a hand full of lessons i spent with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced driving instructor.
Booked for lessons near my test date and wasn’t confident about doing it but with TDT my confidence was boosted and i passed my test with only one fault.

He's truly one of the best instructors in Stoke you could hope for. He teaches everything thoroughly, paying attention even to minor mistakes. Amazing experience! I just passed my driving test after only 3 sessions. He really knows what he’s doing and is excellent at teaching driving, especially junctions and crossing roundabouts. Trust the process it works highly recommend!
