MK City Driving School

MK City Driving School is a driving school based in Milton Keynes with over 15 years of experience. Ifthikar is the CEO and founder, and Nuhman is an instructor at the school. Instructors are qualified to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) standard and are DBS-checked.

The school offers automatic and manual driving lessons, Pass Plus, refresher lessons, intensive driving courses, assessment lessons, and driving instructor training. Its service area includes Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Wolverton, Wavendon, Woburn Sands, Stony Stratford, Bow Brickhill, Hanslope, North Crawley, Newton Longville, Newport Pagnell, Olney and Crandfield. Tuition cars are fitted with dual controls.

Pupils who had previously struggled or failed with another instructor feature strongly in feedback for MK City Driving School on Tolcarne Avenue in Fishermead, many describing renewed confidence once tuition switched here. Named instructors Ifty, Haroon and Thawooth are each singled out repeatedly for a calm, patient manner and for explaining manoeuvres in a way that is easy to follow, with pupils noting that mistakes were properly understood rather than glossed over.

Passes with very few minor faults come up often, including one pupil who qualified after only three weeks of lessons and another whose test was booked in Northampton after focused preparation. A number of accounts mention being taught by two instructors during their course, describing the transition between them as smooth and equally supportive. Reviewers frequently highlight steady, methodical progress rather than being rushed towards an early test date, alongside genuine encouragement and attentiveness to individual needs throughout lessons.

The school is open every day of the week from seven in the morning until eight at night, a timetable that suits those fitting lessons around school, college or work commitments. Given how often setbacks with earlier instructors are mentioned, the consistent patience and clarity described across reviews suggest a school geared towards rebuilding learners' confidence before test day.
