Drive Smart Driving School was founded in 2012 and operates in London. The owner and driving instructor, Jahangir, known as Jay, qualified as a driving instructor in 2012. Jay has been driving for 28 years and has been a driving instructor for 13 years. Since 2012, the school has helped over one thousand local Londoners pass their driving test. It offers both automatic and manual gear tuition.
The school specialises in novice drivers, partly trained drivers, and those who have failed their driving test. It provides refresher driving lessons and the Pass Plus driving course. Driving lessons are provided around Queens Park, Regents Park, Ladbroke Grove, Kensal Green, Kensington and surrounding areas. Lessons are structured, planned and tailored to the individual with set targets.

I had a great experience learning with Mohammed Shamshu. He is professional, patient, supportive, and very reliable. Since I had been driving for years on the other side of the road, it took me some time to adjust, but Mohammed was always understanding and encouraging throughout the process. From the beginning, he was able to identify my strengths while also helping me correct bad driving habits I had developed over the years. His feedback was always clear and constructive. He never missed or arrived late to a lesson, never asked for money upfront, and always maintained a positive and friendly atmosphere during classes. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and excellent driving instructor.
Mohammad Shamshu is an excellent driving instructor. He is patient, professional, and always explains everything clearly. He helped me build confidence and improve my driving skills step by step. Thanks to his support and guidance, I recently passed my driving test. Highly recommended!
Mohammed Shamshu was amazing he got me through my lessons quick and efficiently, always kept things transparent on when he could fit me in and was always on time if not early to lessons, made me feel very comfortable during our lessons where he took the stress of driving away, thanks to Mohammed Shamshu I got my license within a month of doing lessons. Big thank you to Mohammed Shamsu who made me pass my practical at Hendon today with examiner Shima who was amazing and made me feel comfortable even though I was super nervous! Mohammed Shamsu made me feel comfortable during all lessons and I will definitely miss our drives. His feedback and teaching was beyond wonderful and he definitely helped me during the hard times. I passed my practical driving test first time with 1 minor I had the Best instructor big big shout out to Moydal literally couldn’t have done it without him. I found learning with him super easy he would always tell me step by step what to do and how to do it. I am so so glad I had the privilege to be his student.
