I contacted Andy for mock tests as I was practicing in my family car. But it all turned to driving lessons as he understood I needed professional coaching. He's knowledgeable and explained with pictures and highway code that made it easy for me. His teaching approach makes you thorough. I nearly had 20hrs of lessons with him and extra hours in family car.I passed first time! Thankyou for your help Andy.

I contacted this instructor through WhatsApp because I needed a mock test and a car for my driving test. During our initial conversation, we discussed both, and based on that understanding I booked a two-hour lesson on Friday 29/05/2026. After completing the lesson and paying £90, I was told that I could not use the instructor’s car for my driving test and that I was not ready and needed more lessons. I was very disappointed because this was only explained after the lesson had finished. If the car was not going to be available for my test, I would have preferred to know this from the beginning before booking and paying for the lesson. I passed my driving test today, just 4 days later, with only one driving fault. While I respect that every instructor is entitled to their professional opinion, I feel that the assessment of my readiness for the test was not accurate. This was my personal experience, and I hope future learners are given clear information from the start so they can make informed decisions.

Andy was a great instructor. Teaches you how to drive properly, not just how to pass a test. Passed my driving test three and a half years ago, and hadn’t driven since. Had only three refresher lessons with Andy and I feel completely confident in my driving again.

Andy is a great instructor. There are so many things to focus on while driving, and you can trust him to have your back when you make mistakes. I don't find driving easy, but Andy's confidence in me as well as his commitment to making sure I'm a safe driver is why I've passed my practical test. One thing I especially liked about his teaching style is that it is very student-led. He's also very punctual and a lovely guy.

My daughter had previously had a terrible experience with another driving instructor and had lost all her confidence and was on the verge of giving up driving lessons altogether and then we were lucky enough to find Andy Dixon! What a fantastic instructor- kind, patient and very calm and best of all he was always on time!! Andy was perfect for my daughter and after her first lesson with him she was brimming with confidence and full of enthusiasm for driving again! I would highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for driving lessons, he was professional, organised and very punctual!
