Nervous learners, returning drivers and pupils who had previously failed tests make up much of the feedback for Com'Pass Driving School in Plymouth, and the recurring theme is confidence rebuilt from a low starting point. Stewart is named time and again as the instructor responsible, with reviewers repeatedly mentioning his patience, calm delivery and clear explanations. Something that features in review after review is how thoroughly lessons prepare candidates for test conditions, and several accounts note a first-time pass after feeling fully ready.

Those who had not driven for years describe him quickly judging their existing level and shaping coaching around the areas that needed work, particularly confidence and manoeuvring. Reliability and punctuality also feature, including one account of a call being returned when other instructors did not respond. Reviewers value the encouraging, easy-going manner and the straightforward value, describing lessons as well organised and free of unnecessary pressure. Mistakes are handled positively, so learners improve rather than feel discouraged, and the relaxed atmosphere keeps sessions productive. The consistent impression is of knowledgeable tuition that steadily builds skill, with Stewart's patient coaching at the centre of it.
