checkmirrors School of Motoring York

We would highly recommend Sarah at Check Mirrors. She has been very patient and kind for my son who is particularly anxious. She is a great teacher and highly supportive. They developed a great bond and he passed his test first time. Thank you Sarah

My experience learning to drive with Kevin from check mirrors was absolutely incredible. I tried to learn before over 7 years ago with a different instructor and could never get the hang of it, coming home from most lessons distraught with anxiety. Learning with Kevin, he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, not push me beyond my limits, while still ensuring I was learning and continuing to grow my confidence. I passed today first time with no drivers faults which this time last year when I started driving again I never would have believed possible! I have continuously recommended him to friends and would not be where I am today without his support. Thank you Kevin! :D

I was taught by Ryan and managed to pass. He has been an amazing driving instructor, who has helped me build confidence in driving. He explains everything well and allows you to go at ur own pace. He is calm, professional and kind. I would 100% recommend Ryan!!

I used a few different driving instructors in the past but none matched the standard of professionalism they have here. My instructor Sarah had the patients of a saint coupled with an amazing ability to calmly and clearly explain all situations and put me at ease on the road. I would highly recommend Check Mirrors to anyone who is starting out with lessons.

Thank you so much Sarah for all your help preparing me for my driving test, it allowed me to pass on the 1st attempt. Sarah prepared me not only for the test, but taught me to drive safely and with confidence. She has a coach attitude, where she follows the needs of the pupil, asking me what I would like to practice on each lesson. I was lucky to have such a great instructor :).

My experience with Rob at Checkmirrors was brilliant! His calm manner and clear instructions helped me to understand driving procedures and helped me to become confident on the roads! I am so grateful for the support I was given and managed to pass my driving test first time! I would highly recommend checkmirrors and Rob for anyone wanting to start driving!😊

Sarah was amazing at teaching me, coming from a previous instructor i had lost confidence. Sarah regained my confidence and made me a safe driver i wouldn’t recommend anyone else, she is patient and gives good informative feedback which has helped me to pass my test first time!
