Usman is meticulous in his teaching and insists in important points that will make you a safe driver. Today, I just pass my driving test with a zero fault ! The driving examiner was even surprised !
I had a great experience with 1st Driving School Ltd. The booking process was straightforward, communication was good, and everything was well organised. A special thank you to my instructor, Keith, for his outstanding support throughout my driving lessons. He was always patient,, and professional, and he explained everything in a clear and easy-to-understand way. He created a relaxed learning environment, which really helped me build confidence behind the wheel. His constructive feedback and practical tips made a real difference, and he always encouraged me to keep improving. Thanks to his excellent teaching and guidance, I passed my driving test first time. I would highly recommend Keith to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and reliable driving instructor.
The only reason this is not a 1* review is due to the website and company having a number of options to choose from I just obviously chose the wrong one. I cannot comment on the actual lesson as I didn’t have one. However that is to the fault of the instructor. I book for a time and told the instructor that is the latest I can start my lesson. I am sat waiting 30 minutes before that time and he has not turned up, it gets to 5 minutes before and still no sign, then I give him until 5 past the time and he’s still not there. I message him saying he’s late so I can no longer have my lesson so I will go with another company. He then gave me an excuse he was stuck in traffic. I’m sorry but if you’re a driving instructor you should be use to traffic and plan your route to arrive on time or before… there’s literally things in a driving theory test to state about planning routes… anyway he then turned up outside my house 10 minutes after the assigned lesson time and he expected me to still go with him, I had a time I had to be finished for, he was aware of this and expected me to adjust my time anyway. The other instructors could be different and give a better service but this one gave me a terrible one before my first lesson even happened. Thankfully he prefers to be paid on the day of the lesson when he’s met me so I had not paid him yet as that would have been £80 wasted.
Satnam Singh is a wonderful driving instructor! Passed first time! Sam was my second driving instructor after a bit of a break and he really helped me focus and build confidence as a new driver. He was quick to notice where I needed more support with driving and tailored my lessons to best support me. Couldn’t recommend a driving instructor more! Thanks Sam!
The guys are best. Usman is an excellent instructor and the best choice for driving lessons. I passed my first attempt with him in Nottingham and highly recommend him to anyone seeking driving classes. 💯
Raset was my second driving instructor after a rough start with my previous one, and although i had some concerns about the size of the car i would be learning in, i needn’t have worried. Raset is a really patient instructor and adaptive to teach according to the person in front of him, at their pace. Raset took the time to explain the mistakes i had made and how to do them better next time. He was always on time and never missed one lesson. Actually, i will miss learning with him and wish him well. If you want to learn in an automatic, i can really recommend First Driving School and Raset Rahimy. Did I mention i passed first time? That’ll be the tuition ;)
I highly recommend Yasir as a driving instructor. When I started learning to drive, I was a complete beginner and very anxious. English is not my first language, which made me even more nervous, but Yasir was incredibly patient, supportive, and understanding throughout the whole process. His excellent teaching skills and calm approach helped me build confidence behind the wheel. He didn't just prepare me to pass my driving test—he prepared me for real-life driving by sharing practical tips and advice that I know will stay with me for years to come.
