Can’t thank Pete and Carlie enough. From the training to the words of encouragement and passing on his knowledge Pete was simply the best instructor I could have wished for. Made doing my DAS very enjoyable indeed. Thank you so much for getting me through my mod2 test. It’s been a dream come true 😉. Also thanks to Carlie for keeping me in mind and securing me a second mod2 test after failing my first attempt. That was also very much appreciated. Can’t recommend 121 Motoskills enough. They were simply brilliant. Thanks guys Regards Chris 😉
My son did his CBT with Pete last weekend, he came home buzzing and really enjoyed the day. Pete was extremely supportive and built my lad's confidence up really well. Would recommend Pete if you are looking to do bike training
Update August 2026. Review Number 2 - Having had a day with Peter earlier in the year (Review number 1 below), I booked another day to cover specific areas I wanted to improve more e.g. tight switchbacks, u-turns, turning from full lock. Peter had prepared a tailored day specific to those needs. Due to his training and coaching expertise, I made significant improvements during the day and now feel much more comfortable when facing these situations in real life riding. As well as the training, it was enormous fun! It is difficult to get quality motorcycle training in the North East and these guys are really, really good. Also many thanks to Carlie for making the booking and organising so easy. Review Number 1- Had a fantastic day learning with Peter. I requested he customise the day for me to concentrate on slow riding skills and he set up lessons specifically for that. He was patient, supportive and explained things in an easy way which helped me execute what he was training me to do. Would thoroughly recommend!
Great experience with 121. From booking to achieving my CBT. Carlie was helpful and supportive throughout the process. Pete was an amazing instructor. He explained things at each stage. Answered concerns and addressed individual needs. They have a policy of supporting individuals to go at their own pace and will go over anything you are unsure of at each stage of the training. You definitely feel in safe hands before going out on the road. I feel very prepared for my motorbike journey. The venue is really good, too, with essential facilities on site.
Pete and Carlie sorted me out a CBT at short notice when I realised mine had elapsed and I had an event approaching. I had a great session with them so booked my DAS too. I completed that and passed a couple of weeks ago. Pete's training style helps build confidence on the faster bikes and there is plenty of time to practice and refine skills built into the course. They were highly recommended to me and I'd highly recommend to others as well! 🏍️💨
I can’t thank Pete and Carlie at 121 MotoSkills enough. Thanks to Pete’s excellent instruction, patience and encouragement, I passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2! From the very beginning I was made feel comfortable and confident. The coaching is clear, professional and honest, and genuinely care about making you a safe, capable rider—not just getting you through the test. Every bit of feedback was constructive and helped me improve, Pete always took the time to explain things in a way that made sense. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor Thanks again
Pete was an excellent instructor, highly knowledgeable, professional and engaging throughout the training. Carlie was equally helpful, keeping me well informed about training dates, pricing, and all the necessary details. Communication was prompt, which was a refreshing change compared to my recent experiences with other training providers. The team was professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend their services!
