Now Pass Driving School - I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. He is the best instructor I’ve ever had; extremely patient, supportive, and always willing to help. He made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and his clear guidance helped me improve with every lesson. I genuinely don’t think I would have passed my driving test without him. He believed in me even when I doubted myself and always took the time to explain things properly. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive in the Birmingham City Centre area. Passed my driving test in first go! (Manual) I started my lessons in Jul 2025 and had about 60 hours, passed in Feb 2026. I started with zero experience (family and friends don’t drive), and the instructor had been really patient with me, teaching me the basics and telling me tricks and tips as I progressed. My instructor is friendly and punctual, gives clear explanations and instructions, plus his car is comfortable to drive in. I (female) felt safe when he was in the car with me. The car is fitted with cameras and sensors, which provide more sense of security. He is also very knowledgeable about the test route (Kingstanding) and has been really kind to fit me into his schedule for a few mock tests before the real exam. Overall, a very supportive and calm instructor. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed learning here. He was really helpful, informative and knowledgeable about what I needed to do in the test and how to achieve that in good time. I got plenty of practice in the manoeuvres and variety of driving scenarios I needed to pass my test from all across the north east or Birmingham. He was flexible to what I wanted to learn and what I wanted to improve on and when to have lessons. He was flexible with my timings and gave me a couple of mock tests in the run up to my test and that helped me feel confident enough for my test which I passed cleanly first time. I’m so glad to be able to drive now. Great instructor, I was well pleased.

My instructor was patient, punctual and informative whenever I had any driving queries. I was able to pass my driving test first time at a difficult driving centre thanks to the skill and comfort I developed over the course of my lessons with this school. The prices were also affordable in comparison to other instructors in Birmingham. I'd recommend this school, especially if you're based in the city centre/jewellery quarter.
