Genuinely the worst driving instructor ever. Had terrible availability, one lesson every two weeks. He would waste half the lesson just insulting me telling me i didn’t know how to drive (like ofc???). Also made weird comments in general about me. I usually don’t make reviews but after switching to a different driving instructor i passed within a few months and i realised just how horrible this instructor was. ONG if they give u the older south asian man (i don’t remember his name) just find someone else.

My driving instructor had very clear explanations and always made sure I understood what I was doing. He was strict when required, which really helped me improve, but always remained respectful and professional. He consistently highlighted my mistakes and worked with me to correct them, helping me become a more confident and better driver overall. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn properly and safely. It was a pleasure learning to drive with North Star.

As a 41 year old man, who felt like he missed the boat on learning to drive, I was now keen to learn, but at the same time very nervous! Over the last year or so I've had mostly weekly lessons and just last week passed my driving test. I'm a lecturer myself and I really appreciated Shazhad's style of teaching. He matched my pace and pushed me where I needed it. He found a great balance between giving me confidence on days I needed it, and being stern where necessary when I made a silly mistake. I felt like I got a complete education in driving, not only how to be good enough to pass the test. Now I've passed I'll miss the weekly conversations? Highly recommend him!

I passed first time with North Star, he’s been nothing but patient and helpful while teaching me to not only pass the driving test but to also drive safely in general, I learn better with tough love and I can’t thank the guy enough for everything, always on time and cheerful.
