ERT Exceptional Rider Training

ERT Exceptional Rider Training is a motorcycle training school founded in May 2007 by Ronn Tapp. It was run as a family operation alongside Lizzie Tapp, who manages bookings and enquiries. In 2025, Graham and Jamie, who had previously worked as instructors within the school, took over the business. The school is based in Harpenden, operating from The Two Wheel Centre, and covers Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

It offers motorcycle training courses including CBT, gear conversion, 125cc training, 400cc and 650cc introduction sessions, Back 2 Biking, Module 1 and Module 2 training and tests, ERS/Advanced Training, and instructor training. The company provides the use of a bike and insurance for the road, as well as the use of a helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproofs if needed. The legal entity is ERT LTD.
