From our very first session, Dilly didn’t just teach me what to do – he taught me how to think like an instructor. He broke every part of the process down simply, explained exactly what the DVSA assessors look for, and never made me feel silly when I got things wrong. He patiently worked through every single skill with me: from lesson planning and setting clear goals, to giving constructive feedback, adapting to different learner needs, and mastering even the trickiest local routes like Shieldhall Spiral Roundabout. What made Dilly stand out most was his patience and belief in me. When I was nervous about my positioning or approach speed, he didn’t just tell me to fix it – he showed me why it mattered, let me practise at my own pace, and celebrated every small win along the way. Extremely grateful to Elite Gears driving school and especially my instructor, Dilaver for teaching me how to drive in the safest possible way. Coming up to the test, he built my confidence and quality of driving with dedicated teaching and patience. I honestly don’t know where to start—Nabil is an exceptional driving instructor. I contacted him just two weeks before my driving test when all hope felt lost, and despite his already tight schedule, he still found a way to fit me in. On my first day, I arrived in Glasgow very late and completely behind schedule, yet he waited for me for 1 hour 20 minutes and didn’t charge me a penny. That alone speaks volumes about his character and understanding nature. What truly amazed me was his level of dedication, he even arranged a 5am lesson because there was no other available time and he genuinely wanted me to succeed. I’m still in awe of his commitment and support. Despite going through a personal bereavement at the time, Nabil continued to show up and give his best to ensure I passed. My heartfelt condolences once again. His humility, intelligence, patience, teaching style, and encouragement are second to none. After failing three times before being referred to him, I finally passed and I owe a huge part of that to his guidance. Thank you so much, Nabil, for everything you did for me. I truly appreciate it.
