I was taught by Dan Baines with lessons in Earls Barton. He was amazing, super calm and good at explaining everything! Every lesson was tailored to what I needed to progress, and at each step he asked how much support I wanted. I passed in Wellingborough on my first try. I definitely recommend Dan as an instructor!

I learned with Driving Skills Academy in Northampton and had manual lessons with Chris Barker. At the beginning, the thing I worried about most was everything had never driven before. What helped me most was explaining things clearly, providing extra support keeping me calm and helping me to understand my way of thinking. I improved most with confidence being able to learn and pass my test is a great achievement for me. In the end, I passed First time. I'd recommend Driving Skills Academy to nervous learners first time drivers anyone needing calm clear supportive teaching. Chris is great he helped my brother pass first time a few years ago, everyone I know who has learned with Chris has had an amazing experience & passed first time, keep up the great work Chris.

I took manual lessons in NortHampton with Tamas Adrian at Driving Skills Academy. When I started, I felt most nervous about roundabouts. What helped me most was that was calm and explained everything clearly. Also he was patient. The biggest improvement in my driving was independent driving and decision making. The biggest help was that he explained how to achieve certain things in a way that is easy to remember e.g parking and corrected me when I made mistakes. The thing that improved most for me was confidence and judgment. By the end, I passed first time with 2 minors. I'd recommend Driving Skills Academy to everyone.

I had manual lessons with Driving Skills Academy in Northampton with Tony. Before starting, I was struggling with before my lessons my main problem was test nerves and parking. What helped me most was that Tony helped me understand car control when parking and help show me the process and proper way of completing parking manoeuvres. Things really started to click when was given a full hour of parking practice and guidance from tony. By the end, I passed after recieving extremely helpful guidance and help from tony. I had driving instructor Adrian and I couldn’t fault him . He was kind , patient and one of the best instructors out there . He has full confidence in his learners and I couldn’t recommend him enough. I passed first time in the space of a month with him I gained so much confidence in my driving. I passed in Wellingborough, so if you’re looking for a kind , patient , and dedicated instructor he is definitely the person for the job !
