Driving Crash Course

Driving Crash Course has been operating for over 25 years and has trained over 1000 learners. The company uses DVSA-approved driving instructors and offers manual and automatic driving lessons. It provides driving lessons in Derby and Burton. Its services include intensive driving courses, crash courses, mock driving tests, motorway driving lessons, Pass Plus courses, and refresher driving lessons.

Derby learners turning to this provider for intensive courses describe a consistently patient and professional teaching style. Several customers highlight the calm, friendly manner of the instructor, who explains driving concepts clearly and helps pupils build confidence behind the wheel, including those who had previously lost confidence with a different teacher. The structured nature of the lessons comes up repeatedly, with half-day and full-day sessions fitted into a single week or across four weeks. Reviewers mention the modern car and its helpful features, and note that tuition covered local test routes around Alvaston, including roundabouts and dual carriageways, which many found beneficial.

Punctuality and reliability are recurring themes, as is the sense that the teaching is well organised and not overwhelming despite the volume of information covered. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the value for money, with customers considering the crash course reasonably priced for the speed at which they gained skills. First-time passes with few minors are reported by numerous learners, who credit the instructor's professional and understanding approach for preparing them thoroughly for the test.
