Deej is by far one of the most incredible instructors in the York area, and his expertise in all aspects of driving translates across his lessons. I had struggled with a difficult instructor before I moved over to Deej, and he guided me through the entire process until my test where I passed first time. I felt listened to and understood by Deej, which is a problem I had faced before. Would highly recommend

I can really recommend learning to drive with Deej. He was really good at explaining where I went wrong and how to approach different scenarios and maneuvers. He focuses on ensuring that you feel confident on the road and that you are a competent driver rather than someone who can just pass the test. He's also really lovely to have a chat with and I really enjoyed our lessons. He really helped to build my confidence and was very supportive and patient.

Deej is a superb driving instructor. My daughter learnt with him for 18 months. His approach to teaching meant that when he said she was ready for her test she was prepared, calm and confident in her ability. She passed first time with flying colours. Deej was recommended to us by a friend whose son and daughter learnt with him and I highly recommend him.

After having a bad experience with a previous instructor, I was nervous about starting lessons again but I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor this time. He was patient, supportive, and reassuring. He helped rebuild my confidence and explained everything clearly, never making me feel uncomfortable or rushed. His calm approach made such a difference, and thanks to his guidance, I passed first time. I’m so grateful for all his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a supportive and professional driving instructor.

Deej is a fantastic instructor. Patient, knowledgeable and able to explain the different aspects of driving in a really simple and clear manner. Goes beyond teaching you to pass your test and helps you to become a safe and confident driver. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I was so nervous when I first started to learn driving, but gradually Deej managed to turn me into a safe and confident driver. I would definitely recommend Deej as a driving instructor!

Deej is an amazing driving instructor. He was able to explain the process in a way that made sense to me and most importantly when I would make a mistake he would not only point it out but was able to recognise what caused it, explain it to me and show me how to not repeat it again. This was incredibly important to me as it helped so much with my learning style and was something I missed from my previous instructor. Deej really tries to understand how the learner driver learns and tries his best to accomodate their needs. He always made me relaxed and I've enjoyed our chats. Finally, I guess the best comment I can say is that I've attempted practical exam three times with my previous instructor and failed each of them, but with Deej's help and support passed on first try (since learning with him). Definitely would recommend to every learner driver, especially ones who have tried before and now feel anxious about failing again. P.s. also thoroughly enjoyed our discussions regarding learning psychology - Deej's knowledge and constant willingness to learn more about this topic is definitely something that sets him apart from other instructors
