Bennetts Intensive Driving School

Bennetts intensive was crucial in getting my driving license. The admin staff has been very responsive (takes less than 24 hours to get a reply). They were also very proactive in getting lessons arranged, which really helped when I am busy working a shift-based full-time job. The driving instructors (I had Jon and Lee) have been amazing in giving clear feedback whilst being encouraging. It is clear that they always put thought into their lessons - planning the driving routes tackle difficult parts of the driving exam or what I am most struggling with.

I had a brilliant experience learning to drive with Jon from Bennetts Intensive Driving School and passed my test first time. Jon is a fantastic instructor, very calm, supportive and a great teacher! He is always punctual, kind and explains things really clearly. I looked forward to our lessons and have come away feeling like a confident and safe driver! Lessons were also easy to book and timings were well planned out by the Bennetts team. I would highly recommend Jon and Bennetts!

Passed my driving test first time with only 3 minors! I’m incredibly grateful to Dale for his impeccable teaching. He took me from a complete beginner to a confident driver in just over two months. The entire team has been fantastic—friendly, responsive, and always helpful when arranging or moving lessons. I highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive!

Fantastic experience with Bennetts Driving school. My daughter had lessons with Mark when back home from uni and it was a really easy process to book and schedule advanced lessons. Lots of practice on test route which served her well. Now passed, she’s confidently driving around Cambridge when she’s home. Looking to go through process again with my next child. Throughly recommended.

Passed first time today with Bennett’s the best driving school in Cambridge. I cannot praise my driving instructor Jon enough l, he had the perfect blend of keeping me calm, making lessons enjoyable and ensuring we covered everything correctly. I will recommend Jon to all my friends and anyone who wants a fantastic experience.

I’m incredibly grateful to Bennetts Intensive Driving School for helping me pass my driving test. Dale taught me the fundamentals of driving and, most importantly, how to become a safe and confident driver. Jon then went above and beyond to help me refine those skills to test standard, while also helping me understand the test routes and overcome my nerves. Learning to drive can be quite nerve-wracking, but they made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable and encouraging. I’d also like to thank Michela, who always made sure I had a good number of lessons arranged. Communication with her was consistently prompt and helpful, which made coordinating lessons around my work schedule smooth and stress-free. What stood out most was that it truly felt like everyone at Bennetts was personally invested in helping me succeed, and that made such a difference. They never gave up on me despite my initial failures. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone learning to drive.

I was initially with a different driving company, which completely knocked my confidence. Since joining Bennetts, Jon helped rebuild my confidence and made driving something I genuinely enjoy. Jon is kind, caring, funny, and incredibly patient. He always takes the time to make sure you fully understand everything you’ve learnt. Unlike my first instructor from the other company, Jon never gave up and made sure I passed first time! He’s genuinely such a lovely person who always makes you feel comfortable and relaxed in the car. I would give 10 stars if I could. I’d seriously recommend Bennetts, especially Jon. One quote Jon used to say that I’ll always remember is: ‘Don’t be afraid to fail, be afraid not to try.’
