Despite still being nervous on the test day, having these foundations meant I was able to pass first time with Andrew. I can't recommend him enough.

Andrew Usher is a phenomenal driving instructor. I learned to drive in my 20s and after one failed test and bad experiences with other instructors, I was nervous and quite fed-up. Andrew is patient, kind and supportive teacher. He takes you through the basics and goes at your pace. There is no hurry, no timeline, just getting you comfortable with driving, and after 18 months after passing my test first time with him that his lessons are still sticking with me. I am a careful, confident driver, a complete 180 to where I started. Thank you Andrew!

I came to Andrew a desperate man, having failed two previous driving tests under different instructors in the past year and a half. Luckily, Andrew was just the man for the job in assisting me to pass my third (and final!) test earlier this week. Andrew's calm demeanor and fastidiousness with gear-change technique greatly improved the quality of my driving, and helped calm my clutch-related nerves. He charges a very fair price for the service provided, and his car is in a good working condition that is ideal for (manual) learners. I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn in Oxford, particularly those who - like me - are 'late learners' transitioning to driving in mid-life.

Andrew is a superb driving instructor who shows great patience and calmness, even in the stressful situations that learning to drive can often bring. I felt at complete ease under his tuition and made steady progress throughout my lessons. He is a very experienced instructor who gives you a structured way of learning and is very good at explaining things in a relatable way. For example, for manoeuvres or understanding the principles of defensive driving. If you are a nervous learner, you will always be in safe hands with Andrew.

Andrew is an excellent driving instructor who takes his time explaining complex ideas to new and inexperienced drivers. He has been so patient and kind, and is willing to go the extra mile for his students. He always encouraged me when I was unsure of my ability, and gave me the necessary skills to pass. I can't recommend him enough!
